Ultra Thoroughbreds was brought to life as Sean Buckley realised his dream and passion to be intimately involved in the racing industry. Sean has recently spent over $15million renovating his state of the art property at Kilmore, Sean works closely with vets and breeders around the nation providing them with facilities such as Australia’s first and only hyperbaric chamber that he personally imported from Kentucky for approximately $700,000. This facility assists with ongoing rehabilitation and represents Sean’s personal passion in caring for some of Australia’s premier thoroughbreds.
Renovations to the Kilmore property are expected to be complete within the next twelve months and Sean says he will remain committed to his vision for a “good working farm with excellent facilities that can cater for all areas of the breeding process as well as for rehabilitation purposes.
Miss Andretti, four-time Gr 1 winner this season, is raced by Sean Buckley and wears the Ultra Thoroughbred colours. With her feats she is one of the front runners for Australian Horse of the Year.
